Challenge Day 10 Lesson
Go And Find Her! TODAY!
Life can throw you for a loop and you mislabel or misplace the memories and even yourself
I got up ready to rumble & send out the challenge lesson for today…and low and behold after adding a backup drive to the computer the other day, I found my computer decided to rename all 4 of the drives! Making it impossible for me to find anything in a timely manner.
My drives or compartments that I store all my data, projects, notes etc. have had the same names for years, so when I looked at them, they were all scrambled to me.
The data is all the same, but my brain couldn’t compute.
And when I would open a file, the computer couldn’t find the right images because they had different locations.
So….I had to keep searching.
I was so frustrated.
The voices in my head went to cussing me out.
I took a pause to make more coffee & said a little prayer
(you do know all things are possible with coffee? Add maybe also hair color & makeup, oh and a good Jeep.)
Mmmmmm…. wait a second.
I had today’s lesson all wrong…
Today’s challenge is not about “doing” it is about “being”
I reminded myself….that all things happen for a reason and for our highest good. I know it was meant to be.
So…with that let’s make a shift.
The assignment for today is to remember.
You are like, “what? that’s not a good challenge!”
But, just trust me, this is important.
Just remember….If we are going to “Find Her” we have to remember her.
Remember a time when you were at your best.
That could mean your happiest day, or your most heroic day, or patient day.
For some of us it was the day we had our babies.
Or gave the last $5 in our wallets to a stranger.
Maybe a moment you just sat still filled with gratitude.
The day you chose love over the fear of getting hurt.
It doesn’t matter how big or small.
There is a hero in you.
You have had a 1000 days or many more when you were that “girl”.
Right now, I am asking you to think of one.
Today let’s search the hard drives in our minds that might have misnamed where things belong and made them hard to find.
But they are still there.
“Go Find Her”. Write down the memory. Don’t hold back. Don’t cover your awesomeness or downplay it. Be brave and share it on this post. No humbleness necessary. NO HIDING. No comparison. This is not a competition this is a journey.
Maybe the most important one of your life.
I know it is mine.
I will leave you with this quote…
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson, A Return To Love
Remember your moment and that feeling all day today! Stay connected that girl you found
Make sure you are connected to each other.
